The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Cayman Islands Chapter, hosted its 6th conference on Friday 15th March at the Ritz Carlton, Grand Cayman. The theme for 2024, ‘The Future of PropTech’ focused on topics relating to innovation and cutting edge property technology as well as illuminating property trends that are shaping the Caribbean real estate landscape.

Problem

The Cayman Islands committee of the RICS was introducing a new conference agenda with a strong emphasis on technology. The existing branding was outdated and lacked a tech-oriented feel. We needed to develop a brand that not only emphasized technology but also aligned with the conference’s core themes of real estate and development.

Solution

We developed a unique conference brand to promote the event across digital and traditional media platforms. This branding would also be prominently displayed at the event through signs, banners, programs, and other materials. Our goal was to create a conference theme, including a specific font, color scheme, and graphical elements that reflected innovation and technology, tailored specifically for the Cayman conference.

Results

We crafted a truly unique brand for the Cayman conference. Unlike the typical tech conference branding in Cayman, which tends to look similar, our design stood out. We created a ‘low-tech’ design that effectively bridged the themes of property and technology. The branding featured sharp fonts, 3D graphics, and a minimalist yet striking design. The 3D shapes symbolized design and building, perfectly capturing the essence of both technology and development.
