Specialising in helping clients find their forever home, their next investment, or listing and selling existing properties, Corcoran Cayman is part of a global network with thousands of agents and over 120 offices worldwide.

Problem

Corcoran Cayman Islands faced significant challenges in maintaining social media engagement, particularly on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Following their recent rebranding to Corcoran, the company struggled with low brand awareness in the Cayman Islands, where the Corcoran name was not as recognized as it is in North America. Their social media content, primarily consisting of listing announcements and property photos, failed to resonate with a broader audience, many of whom were not actively looking to buy or sell property. Additionally, their social media presence did not reflect the global Corcoran standard, lacking the lifestyle-driven aesthetic that is key to the brand’s identity.

Solution

Biizy developed a comprehensive strategy to enhance Corcoran’s’ social media presence by diversifying their content approach. Beyond property promotion, we introduced a dynamic mix of content strands designed to build brand awareness and resonate with the local audience. This included the regular use of engaging videos, community-focused posts showcasing team activities and monthly spotlights on individual agents. This blend of content not only promoted properties but also cultivated a stronger connection with the community, aligning Corcoran’s local presence with the global brand’s lifestyle-driven aesthetic.

Results

Since managing the social media channels for Corcoran Cayman Islands from January 2023 to August 2024, we observed significant increases in engagement across all platforms. Facebook post reach surged by 133% compared to the previous year, while engagement on the platform grew by 38%. On Instagram, impressions increased by 67%, accompanied by a remarkable 125% growth in followers. The most substantial growth was seen on LinkedIn, where followers, impressions and engagement skyrocketed by over 1,000%. This comprehensive social media strategy not only enhanced performance metrics but also significantly boosted brand awareness, attracted new listings and contributed to the growth of a talented team of agents.
